Meet the builder
Hello! I’m Maryam, a technical systems architect and AI consultant. By day, I work as a Technical Solutions Consultant at Google, building and advising on scalable systems, agentic automation, and AI integrations. By night, I’m building in public — logging the small things I make, break, and learn one day at a time.
Career & Experience
Prior to Google, I was a Data Scientist at RBC, where I translated complex data problems into production-ready, GenAI-enabled pipelines. I specialize in bridging the gap between business and technology — and in making sure the right problem is understood before anyone touches a solution.
My technical stack is built around performance, simplicity, and local-first execution. I believe in translating complex technical ideas into clear analogies, and in systems that are designed to last.
What I’m Building
My main personal project is Moka — a persistent AI agent system I’ve been running since early 2026. It handles memory, scheduling, context-aware reminders, and personal data integrations. It’s my proof-of-concept for what agent-native infrastructure looks like when it’s actually woven into daily life, not just demoed.
This blog is where I document what I’m adding, breaking, and learning — small builds, real experiments, honest logs.
Mentorship & Community
I believe in paying it forward. As an ADPList AI Mentor, I’ve completed over 1,200 minutes of active mentoring. I also mentor startups at Google, helping them figure out where AI and agentic automation can actually move the needle — and where it can’t.
Grit & Fitness
Outside of agents and data, I’m an avid runner and fitness enthusiast. I treat physical training like any other complex system: measure inputs and outputs, optimize the parameters, and iterate for consistency.
